Stained glass design and fabrication was my main profession from 1996-2013. I created residential, commercial, and church stained- and leaded-glass windows, doors, and art pieces using using lead came, beveled glass, and hand-cut clear-textured and stained glass. I fell in love with the beauty of stained glass, apprenticing at a glass studio while attending art school for textile design. Artistically I enjoy the color, line, and the movement created by ever-changing light. From an artisan standpoint, it's greatly satisfying to create a practical, well-crafted object using precision tools with my hands.
